This wonderful maternity session was a surprise for the mom to be! Collin brought some dresses and told her about it the day before while they were on vacation nearby the Pebble Beach area. I recommended to him that we go a little further out to Garrapata Beach, one of my absolute favorite Monterey Maternity photoshoot locations. Portraits in Big Sur almost always end up at one of a few incredible places, and Garrapata is the most accessible and offers a ton of different scenery. Due to their schedule we couldn’t quite get the sunset time that I normally recommend but I got some absolutely amazing shots that they loved! We started up on the cliffside trail, including their lovely dog, before heading down to the beach.

Next I got some amazing shots with the rocky cliffs behind, more beach shots, and put on my vintage prime lenses for those incredible hazy lens flare dreamy maternity portraits that I’m so known for! Talk about some GORGEOUS beach maternity portraits, these unreal photos show off so many different spots on Garrapata Beach. This is one babymoon photoshoot that has it all! Of course the couple and their dog being amazing people and so fun and friendly makes the whole experience just a pleasure, and a reminder why I love what I do.
