Maylis reached out to me about a surprise photoshoot for her Mom’s birthday and I was full of recommendations! We decided on Garrapata Beach in Big Sur California, if you follow my journal you know I LOVE this beach for family portrait photography! After arranging everything and meeting up at the beach, we made our way along the cliffs and down into the Calle Lily Valley for photos - and discovered the lillies had just faded only a few days before! Fortunately I was able to climb to a few and use them in the photos since it happens to be Mom’s favorite flower!

We had so much fun on our adventure, this beautiful family was so full of love and happiness that it was really a treat to get to spend time with them. We ended up on the beach for sunset and there were so many beautiful photos, I can only include a handful of them here!
